With overall experience of more than 20 years Dr Prakrati specialises in Cataract surgeries and in managing all types of glaucoma which includes Congenital glaucoma and refractory adult and paediatric glaucoma.
Her other areas of interest are glaucoma drainage implants and managing combined cataract and glaucoma cases.
Dr Prakrati has a keen interest in research and academics. She has published scientific papers in several reputed journals and presented at various conferences. She has also co-authored a chapter "Pseudoexfoliation and Cataract Surgery" in Recent advances in Ophthalmology by HV Nema.
She is serving as a member of the Glaucoma Society of India , Delhi Ophthalmological society and All India Ophthalmological Society.

An alumnus of Mahatma Gandhi Medical College, Indore ,India
Dr Prakrati did her Master’s in Ophthalmology from Gajra Raje medical College, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. She then pursued training in "lasers in retina" from Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai,Tamil Nadu followed by a long term two year's fellowship in Glaucoma from Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai,Tamil Nadu subsequently she joined LV Prasad eye Institute in India as a Consultant Glaucoma and Phaco surgeon.
