
HYPERTENSION
- Eat healthy foods, include fruits & vegetables and avoid junk food.
- Limit the total amount of sodium you eat or drink to 2 grams (1/2 teaspoon) daily.
- Take Blood pressure medication regularly as prescribed by your Doctor.
- Monitor blood pressure & record it - inform the doctor of any abnormal readings.
- Be physically active and maintain a healthy weight.
- Manage stress.
- Avoid Smoking and drinking alcohol.
- Follow your doctor's treatment plan as advised.
