The department of Rheumatology provides complete comprehensive care and management of variety of rheumatological conditions. We deal with acute arthritis such as post viral arthritis, infectious arthritis and acute gouty arthritis as well as chronic arthritis including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Osteoarthritis and Osteoporosis. We provide diagnosis and management of connective tissue disorders such as SLE, Scleroderma, Sjogren`s syndrome, Mixed Connective Tissue Disorders and Vasculitis. The department is backed by our in-house laboratory which offers immunological tests at affordable prices and radiology services including X-ray, ultrasonography, CT and MRI required for diagnosis. The department offers new-age therapies including Biologics for the treatment of various arthritis. It provides a one-stop solution for management of rheumatological illnesses.

You must consider visiting a Rheumotologist if you have any of the following conditions:

  • Joint pains (with or without swelling).
  • Pain over back or neck with early morning stiffness
  • Recurrent fever
  • Rashes
  • Photosensitivity
  • Recurrent painful oral ulcers
  • Reddish or bluish discolouration of hands on exposure to cold
  • Severe dryness of mouth or eyes
  • Non-healing ulcers with or without joint pains.

Some of these are chronic and disabling types if not treated early and properly (e.g. rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis).
