Dr Farina M Hanif is a consultant gastroenterologist at Bahrain Specialist Hospital. She has about 10 years’ of experience in this field. She is well-versed in performing diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy, colonoscopy and ERCP.
She has more than 30 publications on her credit, on hepatitis C treatment in renal transplant recipients and hemodialysis, , dyspepsia in hemodialysis patients, hepatitis b vaccination in hemodialysis patients and hepatocellular carcinoma.
Qualifications:
She graduated from Baqai medical University , Pakistan and she did her fellowship in gastroenterology from Sindh institute of urology and transplantation. She pursued her career in her same hospital and was appointed at various position. During this time, she also passed ESEGH: European Specialty Examination in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. In 2020 she was appointed as associate professor at Sindh institute of urology and transplantation. She is also member of American Gastroenterology Association.
