Dr. Najah Zayyani
Consultant Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine
Dr. Najah R. Zayani has been practicing in the private sector since 1986 by establishing the Bahrain Gastroeneterology and Hepatology Center. She was the Assistant Professor at Arabian Gulf University from 1986-1991. She was awarded the Alpha Omega Alpha award during her study at the American University of Beirut. She is also the proud receipient of the King of Bahrain award in 2009.
In 2002, she participated in the establishment of the Bahrain Specialist Hospital which was inuagurated by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Qualifications:
- Graduated from the American University of Beirut (School of Medicine / Lebanon) in 1977.
- Post Graduate training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology in USA.
- Gastroenterology Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston Texas, 1980-1982
- Received fellowship from the American Gastroenterology Association in 2017
- Diplomate of American Board of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
- American Board in Internal Medicine & Gastroenterology
- Member of American Society of Gastrointestinal endoscopy since 1980
- Fellow of American Gastrointestinal Association
