BSH Celebrates 10 Years as an American Heart Association Training Center

A Decade of Life-Saving Training

Bahrain Specialist Hospital proudly celebrates over ten years as an accredited training center of the American Heart Association (AHA) — a milestone that reflects our deep-rooted commitment to clinical excellence and empowering our broader community.

Over the past decade, we have certified hundreds of healthcare professionals across Bahrain in a comprehensive suite of AHA-approved Life Support Courses. These include:

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

By equipping nurses, doctors, and allied health staff with these vital skills, we ensure timely, confident responses during critical situations — safeguarding lives within and beyond the hospital environment.

Our mission reaches further than clinical teams. Through the Heartsaver Series, we extend essential emergency skills to non-medical personnel and everyday community members. These practical and accessible trainings include:

• Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED
• Heartsaver First Aid
