Protecting Every Beat, Empowering Every Community
On World Heart Day 2025, Bahrain Specialist Hospital proudly unveiled the Heart-Safe Gym and Sports Campaign — a decisive initiative designed to enhance safety across fitness centers and sports facilities, ensuring that every heartbeat is protected.
A Call to Readiness
This campaign invites gyms, trainers, and the wider community to embrace cardiac emergency preparedness. From AED familiarity to essential CPR skills, the program equips fitness venues not only to boost performance but to safeguard lives.
Why It Matters
Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death worldwide, yet research shows that up to 80% of premature cases can be prevented. By embedding emergency readiness into fitness culture, BSH is helping transform gyms into safe spaces where health and safety go hand in hand.
