DISCHARGE ADVICES OF BABIES TO ALL MOTHERS
- Keep the wound dry; avoid water contact for two days.
- Wash your hands before touching the wound.
- Remove the old dressing, do proper hand washing,clean and dress the wound as explained and demonstrated by the Surgeon/Nurse.
- Discard the used materials in a sealed plastic bag before placing them in a trash can.
- The stitches will need to be removed in 7-10 days after assessment by the doctor.
